Well, I figured I should update on my last con I went to..just for the hell of it.

It was really good, although it was pretty crowded..but good.

The journey to it though was the problem..it took like, 8 1/2 HOURS..but that's just because we got lost.. ^_^;

Once we got there, that's when the fun started.

One of our roomies came and dragged us from my ma's car (along with our stuff of course) and up to the room to meet our other roomie. (because it's a lot easier rooming with people, cheaper too. )

Immediatly, my friend Shae and I transformed into cosplay. I was Saber from Fate/Stay Night and she was Shippuden Hinata.

Well, when we traveled from the hotel to the convention center and got our badges..Shae ditched. I guess she got all excited about the con and forgot about me..darn you Shae.

Ah well, I got to roam through the dealers room with ma roomies so I was alright. ^_^

It pretty much went like that until later that evening. That's when the LARPing started. My friends were joining, so I thought "Why not? Can't be that bad, can it?". Not a mistake, I'm GLAD I joined. It was pretty darn amazing! I'll be writing a fic on what happened the first and second days. I met so many new friends there it was just fantastic.

The second day, I started out as Hikaru and Shae went as First Day Haruhi. Well we decided to do a group cosplay with our roomies. They were Tamaki and Haruhi as well. Twin Haruhi's, I know right!? But I was Kaoru-less. Made me sad, so I bought a wristband with Kaoru on it the day before to be my 'twin'.

Later on, I adopted on a Haruhi cosplayer as my Kaoru..but then she ditched so I decided to go back to loving the wristband.

When I was mingling with my 'fangirls' (I call them that because well, who doesn't love Hika!? (besides Tamaki-sempai anyway..), I was torn away by my Haruhi. At first, I was all "WTF!?" But then she explained that some Soul Eater Cosplayers were only here for today so I was all "ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS!!". So we did a quick costume change and I transformed into Soul and Shae, into Maka.

We paraded through the place, hunting down the cosplayers we saw earlier that day. We happened to find them all..except Liz. We found a Stein, Blair, Medusa, another Maka, Death the Kid and Patty. We had a little photoshoot and hung out for a while. We played games like duck duck goose, redlight greenlight and other things like that.

Then Stein and the other Maka had to ditch.

We played some card games and ran around a bit more until Shae had a sudden urdge to attack me with her mega-huge book of death..

So she stole Death the Kid and Patty.

So I just hung out with Blair and Medusa..talked for a while...performed the Hare Hare Yukai..stuff like that. Then I decided to ditch them after half an hour of Maka not returning.

Didn't find her.

So I headed up to the room and hung out with roomies for a while.
About ten minutes after I came in, here comes Shae.
I interrogated her and well..she did ditch. She never really got her book either..hm.
My head was saved.

So, one of my roomies and I went down to the dealers room to go kimono hunting. She grabbed her rented one and I bought one. We changed into those and went to din din with the others..but they didn't even wait until we got there to order with us..

A little after dinner, we went back to LARPing..I even got our other roommie to join my clan

After that...tiredness.

The last day was the longest.
Everyone seemed to be leaving early.

I got REALLY bored.

After roaming around in my kimono again as the chibi Al (I bought an Al hat so..it worked.) who was now a leaf ninja who attended Ouran high school. I bowed to a REAL al (armor too) cosplayer..but then part of his shoulder thing fell off..no more bowing...

I just roamed a while..listened to the kareoke..watched people fight eachother..all that jazz.

Until I finally gave up and called my ma to come get us and get home.

So we left at about 3ish..

And arrived home at like midnight.

But the ride home was a LOT faster.

Maybe it was because I was roleplaying with Shae?

Could be.

But like I said, AFW 5 was pretty good.

Crowded, but good.

And I hope to attend AFW 6--if my ma will let me. ^_^
